About worshipping only Christ:

God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the

Many things of earth have a
glitter and shine. So bright is this glitter and shine we are sometimes caught
up in the material things of earth rather than being caught up in the arms of Christ
Jesus. Things of earth call us as if they had a voice. Unfortunately, we
sometimes tune into the voice of inanimate things. When we listen to the call of
material things, we lose our ear for God. We know the things of earth are not alive, yet
the things of earth seem to call us because we hunger for wealth in all of
wealth's
forms. The work of the evil one makes the dead things of earth seem to be alive.
The things of earth enthralling us and exciting us are not to be worshipped as a
god. When we compare Christ to earthly things, earthly things melt away into the
dust and dirt from whence they came. Nothing on earth can compare to the beauty
of Christ. No song on earth can compare to the beauty of His voice. No material
object has the power to change our life. Christ gives us a way to become new
persons in Him. In Christ, you can feel His peace, joy, and comfort the material
things
of earth can never give.
