Topic: Resolving Is Not Enough

Resolving not to be like someone else is not enough. When you want to change from who you are to whom you want to be, resolving to be different is not enough. Resolving to live right is admirable but living right is not enough when you want to change from who you are to who you want to be. Resolving is like making a New Year's resolution. We can make a statement about how we resolve this or that. However, resolving is just talk. Sooner or later the talk must end and the action must begin. When you decide to make changes, make your resolution, and then construct your goals and act. You might make mistakes. You might fail. However, if you have the power of God pushing you onward, even if you make mistakes or you experience failure you will push onward against any setback. If you go beyond just the talk and start doing the walk, in God, all things are possible.
