A Prayer About A Better Place Just For You
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I can tell myself I live in a perfect world but I know better.
I can run away and hide but what I am running away from and hiding from
are the imperfections in my world.
I long for a better place than where I am at the moment.
I long for a place without suffering, pain, and heartache.
I am looking for a home with you, Lord.
I am looking for a home with you because I am so often out of place here
on earth.
So often, I feel disjointed, uneasy, full of discontent, and often I feel
the torment and turmoil of life.
In my hopes and in my dreams, I have faith you have a better place waiting
for me.
In my hopes and in my dreams, I have faith you have a bright and shining
city waiting for me.
In my heart and soul I long for a city bathed in the eternal light and
glory of your love and grace.
In my hopes and in my dreams, I have faith you have a heavenly place for
me where I will work and never grow weary.
In my hopes and in my dreams, I have faith you have a heavenly place for

In my hopes and in my dreams, I have faith you have a heavenly place for
me where I will work and never sweat or toil.
In my faith I know.
In my faith I know we will both be together in the city you have built for
me.

Thank you, for giving me this hope beyond hope.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
