A Prayer For A Display Of God's Power Precious
Lord Jesus, Wonderful Holy Spirit, Awesome God,
I love you, Lord Jesus.
Precious Lord,
Wonderful Savior,
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
I love you Lord Jesus.
I love you with all that is within me, even when what is within me is not
very much.
When I need to see your power, O Lord, give me a heart waiting upon you.
When I want to see your heavenly fire falling down to wipe out the evil of
the world, help me to wait upon your will to be made manifest.
When you chose not to display any of your power in the way I want, show me
your power is the power of love that does not destroy but always restores.
When I want to see your power displayed like the mightiest of hurricanes,
show me your power is the power of tenderness, kindness, caring, and
compassion.
Let my heart rest in the knowledge your wisdom is greater than any wisdom
we mortals can fathom.
Let my heart rest in the knowledge your wisdom stands in judgment of every
person.
Let my heart rest in the knowledge your judgment is sure, true, and just
beyond human comprehension.
Show me the real winning score of the battle of life is built up when one
heart comes to you, one heart at a time.
As the battle rages around me, give me the wisdom and power to proclaim
your name in glory, in truth, in my actions, in my thoughts, and in my
deeds.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
