In this present tragedy caused by an act of nature, a little child died while adults who hurt others lived on.
I want to know the justice.
I want to know the reasons why.
It doesn't look fair to me.
Earthly life is so precious.
In my pain I cry out for a reason why.
Help me to heal Lord.
Help me to understand.
To help me heal, let me see Heaven and see how a little child taken with so much life to live here on earth has an eternity to fly around with the wings of angels.
To help me heal, let me see Heaven and see how a little child taken with so much life to live here on earth has an eternity to sing songs of beautiful glory.
To help me heal, let me see Heaven and see how a little child taken with so much life to live here on earth has an eternity to spin webs of healing angel hair around those of us who need healing.
I know about eternal life but my heart still breaks.
I know about eternal life but my mind still remains full of questions about the justice of this disaster taking lives of those who are young and innocent.
May whatever mission this little one was to accomplish be fulfilled through me and through others.
May whatever mission this little one was to accomplish be multiplied in me and multiplied in others.
May every day of my life be dedicated to your mission for me, even in times of tragedy and devastation.
No matter what I must do, no matter what I must face, no matter how much suffering I must endure, may I be willing to push forward and pay any price to serve you, the precious Lord whom I love.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
