A Prayer About Being Clothed With Power

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I am a witness to your love.
I have seen your power of love in people all of my days.
I have seen the comfort of your Holy Spirit.
I have seen the healing of your Holy Spirit.
I have seen the presence of your Holy Spirit.
In your hands, I feel the blessings of your love.
In your hands, I now can see when once I was blind.

After your suffering on the cross, you came back from the dead.
Someday soon, you will come back again to establish your new kingdom upon the earth.
You told your followers in the days of old to wait.
Of course, waiting is hard for me to do.
I am impatient and waiting is not my favorite activity.
However, if you tell me to wait I shall wait.
If you tell me to go, I shall go.
Whatever your will is for me, I shall do all I can to fulfill your mission.
According to your will, may I, every hour, be baptized with your Holy Spirit of love.
Showing all those around me, you are still alive and still working in the world, even when we cannot see you with our physical eyes.

I know the old, old story.
I will do all I can to keep the story alive and to pass on the old, old story to others.
I will do all I can to pass on the old, old story about how you died to set us free�how you died and lived again to give us the promise of eternal life.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
