About Belonging In Christ
Most Precious Lord Jesus�
Gentle And Wonderful God�
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit�
I am a foreigner in a strange land.
I live in a place where I do not belong.
I live among people who do not understand me.
I live among people who have different styles, languages, and customs than
the styles, languages, and customs I find comfortable.
In truth and in fact, I do not belong here.
I am a foreigner in a strange land because I am one of your children and
all these other people do not belong to you.
In your love and grace, be with me each day as I live in this strange
land.
In your love and grace, help me survive the slings and arrows coming at me
from the other people who do not know you.
In your love and grace, help me live in a more dramatic sense of belonging
to you.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
