A Prayer For The Future
Precious Lord Jesus, Wonderful Holy Spirit, All-powerful Father In
Heaven, let me spend the coming day seeking only to do your will.
When I want to do things for myself, let me first look at you.
When I want to achieve great things for myself, let me first want to
achieve great things for you and then for others.
When the world screams at me to want more power, more money, and more
recognition, let me rest in your will for my humility.
O Lord, I give you praise for you gave me life and you gave your life for
me.
I give you praise for you give me the assurance of ultimate victory in all
things done in your will.
When darkness falls upon me and upon others, give me strength to reach out
to you and reach out to others to give you praise.
When darkness falls, let all that I am be a blessing to you.
When darkness falls, help all of us find your light and your love.
In the wonderful name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
