A Prayer For Times When Help Is Rejected Or Not Effective

Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
Whenever I help someone and they reject my help, turn me away from my selfishness and make me unselfish.
When others reject my help, remind me to show them your love.
Help me see how everyone has to find their own way.
When others reject my help, give me the wisdom to see they may not need my help.
When others reject my help and I get offended, show me how I am the one who needs the most help, because I am being utterly selfish.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit who lives within me and touches me,
Amen
