A Prayer About The Fruit Of The Spirit
Being Goodness
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God,
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Inspire me to live in a spirit of love.
Inspire me to live in a spirit of love producing joy, peace, patience,
kindness, goodness, and faithfulness.
Inspire me to live as your beloved child and be an imitator of you.
Inspire me to love my enemies and to pray for those who persecute me so I
may be called your child.
When the sun rises and the rain falls upon the righteous and the
unrighteous, inspire me to always choose to be among the righteous.
Inspire me to show others the same kindness and love you have shown me.
Inspire me to see your grace falling down upon me because although I was
unrighteous and undeserving, you still saved me through the washing away
of my sin and you renewed me by your Holy Spirit.
Inspire me to see how good you are to me and to others.
Inspire me to see your compassion for all you have made.
Inspire me to live in gratitude and thanksgiving for all you have given.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
