A Prayer To Hear God's Tender Voice
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Precious Lord, I am in need.
I live in a harsh and brutal world.
Persons who seem uncaring, cold, and mean-spirited are around me every
day.
In the cold and bitter world in which I live, I need to hear your voice
tenderly calling me to be with you, tenderly calling me to be near you,
and tenderly calling me to be your humble child.
Help me open my heart to your voice.
If I cannot open up my heart on my own, I ask you to be with me, to
understand me, and if need be, to open my heart to your love and grace.
Let me hear your tender voice.
Let me be immersed in your tender ways.
Let me find peace and calm in the touch of your hand upon my heart and
life.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely. Amen |
