A Prayer Of Praise About How Christ Stands With You

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
I love you, Precious Lord Jesus.
I like to think I have power.
I like to think I have influence.
I like to think I can make things happen on my own.
But I am foolish. I think these foolish things because I do not always see you standing next to me.
I am foolish because I do not see all the work you do in my life every hour.
Stop me from being so foolish now or in the future.
In whatever way you can, grasp my heart, mind, soul, and life.
Help me never let go of you when I open my life up to your touch.
You know my every want and my every desire.
Mold me and shape me so all my wants are what you want.
Mold me and shape me so my every desire is what you desire.
You keep trying to tell me to change, to come home to you, to be with you, to want only what you want for me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely. Amen
