A Prayer About Increasing Love

Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
Break down my undeserving heart.
Break down my ego, my pride, and my selfishness.
Break down my self-centeredness caused by my sinful nature.
Break down my anger at others.
Help me kneel down here at the foot of your cross in my broken down state.
Help me collapse in godly sorrow and contrition as I weep over the person I have been and what I have done.
Please forgive me Lord Jesus.
Please help me be better.
Please help me do better for you know I love you more than life itself.
If it would be your will, if I am deserving in your eyes, increase love in my life.
I give you praise, honor, and glory in all things.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit who lives within me and touches me,
Amen
