A Prayer About Letting God Be Within You
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I cannot call you on the telephone.
I cannot log on and find you speaking as a person on a web site.
I can search all over the world but cannot find you living upon the earth
as a human being.
We are separated Lord.
I have run, and run, and run most of life trying to find you.
There have also been times when I have run, and run, and run trying to run
away from you.
Yet, in this running, I got nowhere.
Every day I seek you out.
I try to get beyond my pain.
I try to get beyond my selfishness.
I try to get beyond my issues.
Sometimes, because of the little twinkling light thing you do within my
soul, I let down my defenses and then I see you, I hear you, and I find
you are real within me.
Then, after I find you, I say "Wow!"
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely. Amen
