A Prayer About Living Under Our Attentive God

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Help me treat all persons, regardless of who they are or their station in life with respect.
Help me treat all persons like potential heirs of the gracious gift of life given to all of us by Christ Jesus.
Inspire me to earnestly desire to live in harmony with every person, to be sympathetic, to love others as brothers and sisters, to be compassionate, and to be humble in all my ways.
Inspire me to turn from evil, to do good, and to seek peace and pursue it.
Remind me your eyes look favorably upon me when I am righteous.
Remind me you listen to my prayers when I am righteous.
Remind me the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.
I live in a world of sin, depravity, and debauchery.
When others who revel in sin find out about my faith in you, they can heap abuse upon me.
However, I go to your church.
Sitting in your sanctuary I find a peace and love only those of us you call your own can ever know.
Sitting in your sanctuary, singing hymns and praises to you, I know you are with me forever.
I, like all those saints before me, may be judged by men in regard to the body, but live according to you in regard to the spirit.
Surely, the end of all things is near.
Either the end of all things is near because I shall be called home to eternal life and then I shall see youor the end is near because you will come again to make all things new again.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
Amen
