A Prayer About The Lord's Love
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God,
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
I love you, Lord Jesus.
O Lord, you are love.
I cannot see you but I sense your presence.
I cannot hear you but I can experience your resonating peace in my heart.
I cannot touch you but I can sit patiently in your garden and experience
the joy of your love.
When I lack wisdom, I can come to you and find knowledge.
When I lack patience, I can come to you and find tranquility beyond words.
When I am anxious and afraid, I can rest in your tabernacle and find
encouragement and strength.
When I lack strength, your love is greater than any power on earth.
In the midst of certain death, your guiding hand reaches down and directs
me to your home where I find everlasting life.
In the midst of my pain tearing away at my spirit, I find humor, laughter,
and goofiness.
When I do not understand why things are working as they should, you
comfort me.
When I am repulsed by the ways of evil, you come to give me assurance and
show me the way of peace.
When I am certain of sure defeat, you appear in my heart and show me the
victory.
When my life is vacant of meaning, you bring goals, objectives, and
purposes larger than I can imagine.
When I am confined and imprisoned by circumstances, you come to visit me,
you give me hope, and you show me the promise of the greatest future
anyone can imagine.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
