A Prayer About The Might Of The Almighty

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
My days fly by with such speed!
Hours pass by without my seeming to notice.
In the time you give me, inspire me to think about you more.
In thinking about you more, instill in me your hope everlasting.
Do not let me trust in what is evil.
Do not let me trust in what is fragile but trust in what is unbreakable and unmovable.
Do not let me trust in what will give way but let me trust in your hand holding me up age to age.
Do not let my life just wither away like pulled weeds from the garden.
Help me be dedicated to you so my life has meaning and purpose every hour.
I know I will die.
When I die I will see you face to face.
I know you will then embrace me and immerse me in your love forever.
When I die, please let my life work and my life effort continue on in others in the generations to come.
Permit me to be the kind of person who is blameless in your sight.
On the day of our great meeting, and on the days in between, fill my mouth with laughter and put on my lips shouts of joy.
Help me love my enemies.
Show my enemies your love and forgiveness so they will love you as I love you.
Shelter the oppressed and give comfort to the homeless and downtrodden.
In your eyes I am a lowly sinner, but I know in your eyes I am redeemed and made new as I repent and turn toward you.
Imbue me with your wisdom.
Imbue me with your grace.
Your wisdom is profound.
Your power is vast.
No one can resist you without consequences.
You can move mountains with nothing but a whisper of a thought.
You can overturn mountains in your anger.
You can shake the earth from its axis.
You can make the pillars of great buildings crumble in an instant.
With your hand you bring the clouds, the rain, and the snow.
With your hand you bring out the stars and moon at night.
You alone stretch out the heavens from one side of the universe to the other.
You alone can walk over the seas of the earth.
You are the maker of all that is.
You are the creator of all that exists.
The galaxies, the solar systems, and the constellations are all your making.
You perform wonders that cannot be fathomed or understood.
You perform miracles that cannot be counted.
With all the power you have, when you pass by me I cannot see you.
With all the might you have, when you pass by me I cannot perceive you.
May the joy of my moments continue on forever as I keep you on my heart both night and day.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
