A Prayer About Peace In Times Of Conflict And Disappointment

Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
I live in conflict and disappointment.
I am consumed with worries about every part of my life.
Place within me your sweet spirit of peace.
Help me always choose peace over war and conflict.
When upset comes, help me look to you.
When battles come, help me kneel at the foot of your cross.
When chaos reigns, help me rest and reach up to your heart of peace.
When disappointment consumes me, help me see how all hope is in you.
When my battle surely seems lost, help me see how you are the victory and the way to peace.
In the name of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit who lives within me and touches me,
Amen
