A Prayer About The Person You Can Be

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I love you because you see the best in me in spite of my worst.
I love you because you died on the cross so my best could prevail over my worst.
I love you because of all the people in the world who know me, you, O Lord, need more of my best than anyone else.
I love you because you see what I can become in you and you want me to become that person.
I love you because you see may sin, not as a reason to kill me, but as your reason to die for me so I could cast my sin aside and be all you want me to be.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely. Amen
