A Prayer For Power To Walk The Lords Path

Precious Lord Jesus, in this hour of darkness, help me put on your armor of light.
I am weak and burdened down with many trials.
Yet, in you I can see the way out of this distress.
I have lost my way, but in you, I find my path to the future.
I have wandered away from your calling upon my heart, yet my heart hears you calling me back.
Even now when I am still trying to find the path, my heart, my soul, and my spirit yearns to be with you.
In the sorrow of this life, I can hear your tender voice speaking to me about new mansions and new lands prepared for me.
When I cannot take another step because I have no strength, there is another hand, your hand, pushing, pulling, and helping me forward.
When I am silent from the beating by the enemy, your soothing love covers my wounds. When I am in a state of hopelessness, your voice reaches my heart and I see the great Light of your being.
For all these things, I give thanks and praise to your holy name.
All these things I pray in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
