Prayer In A Time Of War
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle and Wonderful God, Truly Awesome and
Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Precious Lord, in our world so full of war, turmoil, and violence, we
welcome you this day.
Lord, if it is your will, please come back to us this day.
Right now, this very hour, we need your love and peace in the world.
Every day we hear about wars and rumors of wars.
In the Holy Land where you lived and ministered to the multitudes, there
is continual war and conflict.
In Jerusalem, there are bullets flying and car bombs exploding.
In so many places of the world there is war.
In so many homes there is conflict and war between people.
Please help us, for we are like sheep and we do not know what to do.
Give us your touch of love and your wisdom.
Give us an extra measure of encouragement to fight the good fight for you
and for your kingdom.
In this era of war and violence, keep our heart pure, our mind upon you,
and our heart open to your sacrifice for each of us.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
