A Prayer About Putting God Before All
Things Of Life
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
You are my guide.
You are my leader.
You are my hope.
You are my salvation.
You are the creator of my life.
When I see the world, I see the beauty of the earth.
When I see the world, I am reminded of your love for me.
Please remind me when I see the world to look beyond what I see.
Please keep me safe from worldly harm by guiding my thoughts up to you.
When I see the attractions of the tangible world, show me the power and
majesty of your intangible love, power, and grace.
When I see the tangible world, keep my heart safe and remind me to love
only you because you first loved me.
When I see the tangible world and the darkness tries to overtake me,
please help me look up to see your true Light.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely. Amen |
