A Prayer Of Remembrance Christ Needs You
To Be Holy And Righteous
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God,
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
I love you, Lord Jesus.
The culture of my world screams at me to forget you.
The culture of my world screams at me to let all things slide and do only
what feels good for me to do.
The culture of my world, so steeped in sin, corruption, and immorality,
screams at me there is no reason to be holy and righteous because the
world thinks you are a myth.
I am ashamed to say I am no longer shocked at the immorality and
ungodliness of what I see, hear, and observe in the world.
My senses have become dulled to the grimness of my reality
How awful this lack of righteousness in the world is!
Lord Jesus, you know I love you.
Help me now to live a holy and devout life as I constantly kneel at the
foot of your Cross.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely. Amen |
