A Prayer About The Risk Of Witnessing
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And
Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Thank you for listening to me each day.
Thank you for giving me the power to try and put aside all the
distractions of life as I come to you in this time of prayer and
meditation.
Each day I see the world dwindle down into sinfulness and darkness.
Each day I see the world edge closer to evil's point of no return.
As I move about each day, give me the power to be your witness and to show
your love.
Embolden me to tell others how much you love them.
Embolden me to go against all odds and face the dangers and the
embarrassment of being your ambassador in the part of the world in which I
live.
If need be, may I risk my life and fortune to see your truth preached and
demonstrated.
May I be bold and courageous enough to live out my life not expecting you
to always give me what I think I need but accepting only what you deem I
need.
Help me understand you may not give me anything I want but you will always
give me all I need to do your work in your humility, grace, and love.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely. Amen |
