A Prayer To See Jesus (4) Most
Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
I love you, Lord Jesus.
When I finally see you face to face, and you ask me if I have forgiven
those who have wronged me, let me say "Yes."
When you ask me if I have loved the unlovable, let me say "Yes."
When you ask me if I gave to the poor, let me say "Yes."
When you ask me if I gave more than my all in your service, let me say
"Yes."
When you ask me if I truly tried to be your child on earth, let me say
"Yes."
When you ask me if I love you, let me say "Yes."
When you ask me these questions each hour, let me always say
"Yes."
As I move through each day, let me build a future for your glory.
As I move from one week to the next, remind me how my tomorrows are built
in the here and now of each day.
When you return to earth in a physical form, let me not be caught idly
gazing into the clouds.
When you return to earth in physical form, let me be found hugging a
hurting child, feeding the hungry, comforting the grieving, and praying
for the lost.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
