A Prayer To Be Self-controlled While Resisting Satan

Whenever I suffer from the attacks of Satan let me be self-controlled and let me resist satanic attacks at every turn.
Whenever Satan tries to destroy me like a roaring lion, remind me to call upon you and call upon your angels to be my armor, shield, and protector.
Whenever suffering tries to devour my soul, may I kneel down before your suffering upon the cross so I can see my suffering is no suffering at all compared to your suffering.
When sin tries to eat me alive, let me come to life as your humble child and let me feel the joy of your presence.
When sin tries to weaken me and make me falter, make me strong and stand firm in your name.
In every hour, let me always resist evil.
In every hour, let me turn away from evil.
In every hour, let me build a strong and mighty defense against evil.
In every hour, let me push harder against Satan than Satan pushes against me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
