Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Whenever I have pain and suffering, guide me forward, step by step, toward your own suffering upon the cross.
Whenever I might feel self-pity because of my pain, help me sing your praises.
Whenever I might think I am defeated because of my pain, help look up to see your shining love calling me to the victory you have won for me.
Whenever I might think there is no hope for me and there is no way out of my pain, touch my heart so I am renewed, inspired, and motivated to be more than I could ever think of being on my own.
In your name, let no hardship ever stop me.
In your name, let no hardship ever slow me down.
In your name, let no persecution from any source ever hinder me.
In your name, let me always lift up my voice to you in prayer even when I am weak and feeble.
In your name, let me always lift up my voice to you in prayer as a glorious song of praise even when I am weak and feeble.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
