A Prayer To Tell The Truth About Life

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Let me always be able to face the truth about myself.
Let me always be able to face the truth about my life.
When it is difficult for me to face the truth about myself and my life, give me courage.
When the truth I must face is bigger than I can handle, come to my aid and give me strength.
Never let me tell myself a lie.
Never let me live a lie.
No matter what I must face in myself or in my life, I know you are always ready to guide me and comfort me.
You are the firm foundation of my life.
No matter how difficult facing the truth may be, you are the truth and the truth shall set me free.
When my life is full of pain and darkness, let me see over these times.
When I am afraid to admit things about the pain and darkness, give me hope and give me promise so I can come to grips with what frightens me.
Show me my sin can keep me from telling myself the truth.
Show me my sin can be washed away as I come to kneel at the foot of your cross and accept you into my heart and life.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
