Prayer No. 3 To Hear God Say "I Love You"

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
In my pain and suffering, I want to hear your wonderful words, "I love you."
When my heart is closed off from you because of my pain, touch me to open up my heart to you.
When my mind is spinning wildly with thoughts other than thoughts about you, touch me to think only of you.
When my spirit is broken and I think there is no hope in you or no hope with you, repair my spirit and pour your power into my heart.
When you have touched me and my heart is opened, help me then to listen to you speak my name.
Help me listen to you so you may guide me and direct me in all my ways.
Most of all, when my heart is open, help me hear you say to me, "I love you."
When I want to go my own way in life, give me a gentle nudge to get me back on your path rather than walking my own path.
When I want to go my own way in life, come up alongside me, take my arm and pull me in the right direction.
When I have closed off my heart to you and I have only the lonely darkness within me, send me a little message about your light and love so I will open my heart to you.
When I think there is no hope, show me a future full of light and love.
When I think there is no future, show me Heaven.
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I will always love you, even if I am never able to hear you say to me that you love me back.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
