Prayer About Turning Excuses Into Reasons For
Progress Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And
Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord
Jesus, I love you.
Please forgive me Lord, for today I have made excuses instead of owning up
to my actions.
Forgive me for not taking responsibility for my life.
Forgive me for I have been using excuses as false reasons to not accept my
role in getting me to where I am in my life at the moment.
Help me to not run away from the truth when I make excuses.
Help me to not make excuses because making excuses keeps me from moving
forward and making progress for you.
In your love and grace, help me take control of all my excuses.
Help me take charge of all the whispers in my mind telling me the
circumstances of my life are someone else's doing when the truth is that
the circumstances of my life are really my doing.
In every excuse, help me find your hidden truth to unlock my fullest
potential.
Whenever I make an excuse, help me think about opportunity, power, and
growth for you instead of the excuse.
Whenever I make an excuse, help me turn even the worst circumstance to my
favor and to your glory.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
