A Prayer For Power Against The Weakness Of The Flesh

Most Precious Lord Jesus…
Gentle And Wonderful God…
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit…
Precious Lord Jesus, I desperately need your help.
I wouldn't tell another soul what I am going to tell you now.
O Precious Lord, my flesh is weak and I am tempted to fall away into sin and do sinful things.
I am tempted to give in to my desires.
I am tempted to let my wants take over my life.
I am tempted to no longer fight against the lusts and passions that ravage my body every day.
O Precious Lord Jesus, come to me now.
Please come to me and be with me.
Please give me your strength.
Please give me your power.
Please give me a vision of your suffering upon the cross for me.
Please give me a vision of all you want me to be.
Please give me your overpowering love to fight back against the lust that tries to tear me down.
Please keep me aware of your power.
Please keep me aware of the wiles and devices Satan is using to attack me.
Please give me the power to stand firm and be steadfast until we see each other face to face.
I know my flesh is weak, but I know I am strong in your spirit and in your love.
I know my flesh is weak, but I know I am strong in your power and protection.
Thank you for always being with me.
Thank you for blessing my life in uncountable ways.
Let me always remain humble in your sight.
All these things we humbly pray in the name of our most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, our Mighty God, and our Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom we can rely.
