A Prayer For A Time When Problems Are Real
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome
And Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Never let me want to be any place other than in your love and grace.
My problems are real.
Please help me to never run away.
Please help me stay where I am and be your witness.
Please help me be the kind of person who glorifies you in all my thoughts,
words, and actions.
When I think I cannot bear to deal with my problems any longer, give me
your power to look up into your eyes.
When my problems make me think no one cares about me, let me reach out to
others in your power and in your love.
When my problems separate me from others, help me be a person of comfort,
kindness, and compassion.
When I want to run away from my problems and my life, give me your
strength and remind me about my eventual home with you.
When I get discouraged and want to quit, let me look to you for
encouragement and power to keep on keeping on.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
