A Prayer About When The Truth Brings Fear
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And
Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I am so often afraid of the truth.
When it comes to the truth, I seem to choose not to look so I will not
see.
Even when I know what I will see…
I do not want to look because of my fear, my trepidation, even my terror.
I put the truth out of my mind.
I look intently the other way.
However, I know you love me and I know there is no reason to fear the
truth because you are with me.
I know there is no reason to fear the truth because I am willing to be
with you.
I know with certainty you will always be with me no matter where the truth
leads or what the truth might be.
I know when I open my heart, my life, and my soul to you then any truth
can be faced.
I know with you by my side I need not be afraid of the truth because the
ultimate truth, the truth above all truths, is you love me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
