A Christmas Devotional About Christ's gift of certainty in an uncertain world: Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. (NIV) None of us can know with certainty what will happen in the world the next hour. With things the way they are in the world, perhaps we are better not knowing. However, Christ was born and when He was born He gave us the gift of certainty in our uncertain world. With Christ, we are certain we have a future. We are certain we have a life full of unseen blessings because we have experienced and savored these blessings. We are certain Christ is with us every hour of the day and night. We are certain Christ is real. We are certain He loves us beyond measure. We are certain He wants us to love others just as He has loved us. We are certain He has compassion for us when we hurt. We are certain He wants us to have compassion for others just has He has compassion for us. |
