About Christ's gift of power to find your heart:

At Christmastime, people can lose heart. Sure, you can go through the motions. You can go shopping, wrap presents, decorate the tree, and send cards. However, sometimes bad things happen and you can lose heart. Although you can lose heart, you must know Jesus always knows how things are going with you. When you are honest with Him, He will smile as He listens to your heart. When you are honest with Him, His smile beams down and He lifts your heart up out of the doldrums. Open your heart and you can hear Him tell you "this too shall pass." Open your heart and you can hear Him remind you of all the joys in your life. Open your heart and you can hear Him remind you of all the blessings He has given you. Christ always has a way of picking you up when you need a lift. Christ always has a way of helping you see ahead when you are blinded by the circumstances in your life. Christ gives you power to believe when you cannot see, power to speak when you are mute, and power to walk when you are lame. Christ has the power to bring you joy even when you think you will always be joyless. Christ always has a way of giving you the power to find your heart in Him.
