A Christmas Devotional About
holding the baby Jesus in our heart: Luke
2:6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave
birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a
manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. Holding the baby Jesus in our heart on Christmas should be the main event in our Christmas celebration. Holding Christ in our heart means we are never, ever alone. Holding Christ in our heart means we always have someone in our life caring more about us than any other person could ever care. Holding Christ in our heart means He is always listening to us and He is always answering our prayers, even when He must answer our prayers in ways we do not want or do not like. Since before you were born, God has wanted you to be His pure and godly child. When you hold the baby Jesus, whoever you are before you hold Him gets changed into the person God has always wanted you to be. When you hold Christ in your heart or when you hold Him as a baby, the cares of the world melt away in His awesome glory and grace. |
