About having a difficult time making decisions… 1 John 5:4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. (NIV) Some people have a difficult time making decisions. Decisions are difficult to make when we are full of uncertainty, doubt, fear, or anxiety. When we are full of uncertainty, doubt, fear, or anxiety, what does Jesus want from us? When we have faith, especially a mighty faith in God, we are not easily overcome with uncertainty, doubt, fear, or anxiety. Some decisions are always going to be difficult to make whether we have a mighty faith or not. However, as a person with a mighty faith, our mind can always be clear and we can have a heart and soul full of confidence. When we have a mighty faith, we are not indecisive. Taking time to make decisions is not wrong or unproductive. If we take time to make decisions when we have a mighty faith, our time is spent collecting facts, getting opinions, and praying for wisdom. |
