when we suffer injury: Job 6:10 Then I would still have this
consolation-- my joy in unrelenting pain-- that I had not denied the words of
the Holy One. (NIV) We all want life to be pain
free. We all want life to be free of hurt, free of suffering, and free of loss.
When we mature in our life and heart we come to realize life cannot be pain
free. We all suffer some kind of injury or hurt. When we are spiritually
injured, we are stricken down in our spirit. When we are physically injured, we
are stricken down in our body. When we are injured in any fashion, we must
remember Satan is the source of all hurt, pain, injury, and loss. When Satan
attacks us and we are in pain, we must push our heart into the hands of God. Satan's purpose in injuring you is to take you away from God and God's healing love. However, God does not forsake us, even when He seems to have turned His back upon us and He has left us alone. When you are hurting, God hurts with you. When you are suffering, God suffers with you. When you are injured, give the hurt to Christ. Surrender every pain and every torment into the scars of His hands. |
