Topic: Living The Right Way

Most people today don't want to hear someone else tell them how to live. Most people will say "I already know I don't live right and I don't need the preacher or the church to tell me about living right." The problem with this rebellious attitude is recognizing you are not doing what you are supposed to do. This rebellious attitude is not good enough. You have to desire to live a fully righteous life and then follow up your desire to change with effort.

2 Peter 2:20 If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. (NIV)

We are called to live a holy and righteous life. Salvation carries a continual price tag. Salvation requires daily vigilance. Salvation requires constant attention to your life and how you live. Peter says if you are saved and fall away or get caught up in the world after you are saved you are worse off than if you had never been saved at all.
