Prayer To Be Honest About Feelings Of Fear And Guilt

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
Before you, I must tell the truth.
I am afraid and I feel guilty.
I try to push my thoughts and feelings aside and not confront them.
Rather than be honest, I lie to myself and tell myself I am not having these thoughts and feelings.
Precious Lord, stir in my heart the power to be honest about what is going on within me.
In your love and grace, help me find the courage I need.
Show me how I have no reason to fear or feel guilty.
Show me how your love drives out my fear when I am honest.
Show me how I am redeemed and washed clean as snow in your baptism of love.
Help me find your courage and freedom within my heart.
Help me know I have the victory in you because you have already won the victory on Calvary.
Help me know you are powerful and you overwhelm all my fear and guilt.
When I am afraid of the future, show me I am loved and secure forever in the palm of your hand.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
