Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
Of all the things I should want in the world, I know what I should want is to be at one with you.
I don't like the separation between us.
I want to walk with you and talk with you, just as we sing in the hymn.
I have spent too many days trying to discern what you want when I already knew.
I have spent too many days asking you questions for which I already had the answer.
I have spent too many days asking you to help me when I did not really need the help.
Of all the things I ask for, what I need the most is to be at one with you.
Place in me a way to be with you in oneness so I am more aware of your ideas, desires, and will.
Help me find a way to be with you as if we are both really at one with each other.
Help me know more fully each day you are love and to be at one with you is to be at one with love.
Show me all of creation is held together with the invisible glue of your love.
Show me how being at one with you is the same thing as being in total oneness with the invisible glue holding all things of creation in their place.
