A Prayer About The Blood Of The Covenant

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I read in the Old Testament how Moses would sprinkle the blood of calves over the scroll and over all the people.
I read in the Old Testament how Moses said you commanded us to keep this blood of the covenant.
I read in the Old Testament how everything must be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
I read in the New Testament how you shed your blood for me�so I would be forgiven�so I would be cleansed�so I would be made pure.
I wish things had not been like this.
I wish you could have been able to be my Savior without your having to suffer.
I have suffered enough in my life, nothing like you suffered, but still I have suffered enough.
I don't like suffering in me or in anyone else.
I especially don't like the idea of your suffering even if your suffering was done in my place.
However, I accept your sacrifice, even if thinking about your sacrifice hurts me in my heart.
I know I can never purify myself.
So I will try, every hour of every day, to remain pure in my thoughts, pure in my feelings, and pure in my actions.
I shall try to keep your sacrifice before me at all times so I do not forget what you have done for me.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
