A Prayer Of Praise For Immortality From Christ
Most Precious Lord Jesus�
Gentle And Wonderful God�
Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit�
I praise your holy name.
I praise your holy name because someday my body will fade away, but I
shall remain.
I praise your holy name because someday my body will quit working but my
thought, my heart, my intellect, my senses, my spirit, my soul, all of me
that I call me, shall live on in your home and in my new home with you.
I praise your holy name for in the doom that so pervades life on earth
there appears to me and to every other person your blessed hope shining a
light into my soul.
I praise your holy name for in the utter hopelessness of earthly life your
shining star gives all of us hope, a hope that will someday become more
than hope because someday all our hope shall be realized in the shining
moment when you welcome us home.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
