A Prayer For The Lord's Presence In Trials

Wonderful Lord Jesus, Precious Holy Spirit, Strong And Mighty God, let me not get caught up in the world.
Let me not look at the world with envy or want, but let me look at you.
When I have needs and fears, let me look to you first, for in you I can find what I need and I can find courage to face each day.
When calamities befall me, help me know you are near me.
When things go wrong, help me know you are near me to help put things right.
When I am confused and do not know where to turn, open my heart and mind to your truth, your love, and your wisdom.
When I am tired, give me added strength to move through each day.
Oh Lord, I wait for the day when I may live in your love in Heaven.
For this moment, give me a lift in spirit so that I can be your example here in this time and place.
Let me not be anxious about this world or this life for in you I find so much security and so much love.
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
