A Prayer About Reaching Out In Trials
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And
Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
When I am besieged and under attack within the trials of my life, help me
not do the natural thing of becoming inactive or pulling back.
In your grace and in your love, when I am under attack within the trials
of my life, help me do what I do not want to do. Help me reach out to help
someone else.
When I am undergoing great trials, the first thing I want to do is to have
others reach out to help me.
Instead, when I am wounded, help me reach out to help others who may have
greater wounds than I.
When I am wounded, help me reach out to heal others with no thought about
my own difficulties.
In your grace and in your love, help me put my faith in you by trusting in
you as I go against my instincts urging me to protect myself.
In your grace and in your love, help me do what is unnatural by going
against my instincts by using your heavenly supernatural help.
In your grace and in your love, let me and those who I seek to help bask
in the downpour of your healing streams of love.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
