A Prayer To Resist Sin Even More

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
The sin and darkness of this world want to take me down.
Everywhere I turn, sin runs rampant in the lives of people.
Give me your love so I may resist.
Let me pay any price to resist the evil one.
Give me a mind full of alertness and vigilance about what the darkness wants to do to me and what the darkness is doing in the world around me.
Give me such revulsion to the sin and darkness of the world I am willing to shed my blood to be your righteous child.
When I fall down, make a mistake, and receive your discipline, help me find the joy and encouragement I need to pick myself up and push forward.
Build in me a refusal to lose in this great spiritual war.
Build in me an ultimate desire to win for you.
When I am under pressure to fall away and I do my own will rather than your will, help me submit my spirit to your will/
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
