A Prayer To Handle The Small Things Of Life

Precious Lord Jesus, Wonderful God, Empowering Holy Spirit,
In all the small things of life, give me a little reminder of your presence.
When I am caught up in my selfish life, show me there is always another person who needs me.
When I am depressed about how life is playing out on this field of battle, show me your destiny for my soul.
Show me Lord, for I am sometimes blind.
Show me Lord, for sometimes I cannot see you or hear your voice.
Show me Lord, for my faith grows weak and I hang on to only a thread of your garment.
When things do not work out as I want, show me all things work out for your glory if I am willing to conform to your will.
When others slander me, show me the way of the cross is a way of pain.
When I am tired and weary, show me a glorious heavenly life waits for me just around the corner.
When I make my plans, remind me to make only plans glorifying you.
When I build my castles in the air, remind me you hold the air in the palm of your hand.
When I want others to see me and notice me, remind me no one can see me, notice me, or know me like you.
When I am alone in my pain, remind me I am never alone.
When I cannot see past the torment of the present moment, push my mind to fall down at the foot of your Cross.
When the small and petty things of life seem to run me ragged, show me the very big picture of you surrendering your life for me on the Cross.
All these things I pray in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
