A Prayer About Staying Faithful To God

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I wonder if anyone knows how slippery this uphill battle gets.
I wonder if anyone knows how bloody my knees have become from falling down.
I wonder if anyone knows how slender the thread is getting that holds me up.
There are times when I love being able to come to you.
There are other times when it takes all I have to bring all those people I pray for every day before you.
I am pulled in so many directions.
Satan blindsides me and tries to make me think there is no use in praying, believing, seeking, trusting, loving, and staying on your path.
But then I begin to think about what you had to endure to save me and give me eternal life.
Thank you Lord.
I promise to hang on until I no longer have hands within my soul to grasp.
I may cry a bit.
I may be in a lot of pain.
But as much as I am able, I will hang on and not let you slip out of my grasp.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely.
