Precious Father,
Precious Lord Jesus,
Wonderful Holy Spirit,
My world is filled with so much noise.
I am so used to noise I would rather be in the noise than in the silence.
Help me change myself.
Help me learn to love the stillness, because I know you are in the stillness.
Help me learn to love the stillness, because I know the stillness is filled with your love.
Help me accept you are probably not going to boom your voice into me to give me an answer.
Help me accept you are probably not going to violate my sense of hearing or violate my life by booming your voice into my heart.
However…
In my faith, I know I can find you in the silence.
In my faith, I know you stand next to me in the silence.
In my faith, I know every part of the silence is full of your love and grace.
Open my heart and mind so the silence of my life is not so much silence but a great spiritual song made up of your love and grace.
