Prayer For Times When You Think Your Life Is Not Worth
Living
Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And
Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I am in a time when it seems I am attacked from every side.
My life is full of struggle, heartache, grief, and pain.
I catch myself wondering if life is worth living.
Infuse in me a heart full of affirmations about how life is worth living.
When I start to have doubts, bring me to your cross.
When I am at your cross, pull my eyes up to see you suffering and dieing
for me.
Pierce my heart with your agony and sacrifice for me.
When my present trials seem to be unbearable…
Show me why you want me to push on every day.
Show me why my life is worth living.
Show me how I am on a train to heaven and you are waiting to embrace me in
your love when I arrive.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus
Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can
rely.
